Agnes E. Harvey, age 89, of Bath, NY died Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY.
She was born November 28, 1923 in Perkinsville, NY the daughter of Raymond and Mildred Gunther Craig.
She retired from Westinghouse in Bath.
Agnes was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5147 Ladies Auxilliary, Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 Ladies Auxilliary and also volunteered for R.S.V.P. She was a very active member at St. Mary's Church in Bath where she was the Assembly Leader for Saturday night mass, on the Bereavement Committee, Sacristan and was also an Eucharistic Minister. Agnes was in charge of the Bath Seniors trips.
She is survived by sons, Donald (Karol) Harvey of Hammondsport, NY and James (Tracy) Harvey of Dansville, NY, special grandson Anthony (Laurie) Harvey of Cameron, NY, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband James R. Harvey Sr. in 2004, brother Robert Craig, sisters, Delores Pledge and Fran Shaut and special sister-in-law Lou Craig.
Friends may call on Friday June 21, 2013 from 9:00-10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Bath.
A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00 am with Reverend James Jaeger celebrant, assisted by Deacon Dave Lafortune.
Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Agnes's name may be made to St. Mary's Church, 32 East Morris St., Bath, NY 14810.
