Alexander E. Eichorn, Jr., age 79, of Bath, NY died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Taylor Health Center, Bath, NY. He was born May 20, 1934 in Cohocton, NY the son of Alexander E. Sr. and Freida Mae Vanderhoef Eichorn.
Mr. Eichorn
was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He worked at the Bath V.A.M.C. as a chef and nutritionist for many years, retiring from there.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (Hasedar) Eichorn of Bath, son Kurt H. Eichorn and fianc Maria Szuknovics of Ocean, NJ; two grandchildren, Karl Eichorn of NYC, NY and Jessica Eichorn of Columbia, MD.
He was the oldest of six children and is also survived by his brothers, Hugh and Darrell and sisters, Sharon, Lyla and Nanette.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
