On Sunday, January 1, 2023, Allie Mae Grimaldi of Savona, NY passed away at the age 84. Allie was born January 27, 1938 to Hugh and Elizabeth Mills. She graduated from Greenwood Central School in 1955. On January 27, 1973 she married John Grimaldi. Allie worked at the Savona Central School for several years.
Allie enjoyed her family, her friends, cooking and church.
She is survived by her children; Anna Divens, Joe (Karen) York, John Grimaldi and Beth (Bill) Tompkins, her son-in-law, Mike VanderVeer as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Allie was predeceased by her parents, her husband; sisters, Myrtle O'Dell, Ruth Mills, Cora Thompson and Nettie Croom; five brothers, Gerald, Carlyle, Charles, Robert and Alvin Mills, and her children, Jessie York and Gayle VanderVeer.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
