Audrey M. McGunnigle passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2018. Predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Niemczyk, she is survived by her husband, Robert E. McGunnigle; son, Robert E. McGunnigle Jr.; brother, Leon Niemczyk; sister, Carolyn (Niemczyk) Mule; sister-in-law, Kathleen (McGunnigle) Mukherjee; brother-in-law, Sam Mukherjee and many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends.
Audrey was a devoted and loving wife and mother who always looked for the good in everyone, yet, was a shrewd judge of character. She could be counted on to lend a sympathetic ear, or, a helping hand to anyone in need.
In her single years, Audrey (Niemczyk) was a successful insurance broker on Long Island, New York (from where she hailed). After marrying Robert, she was an integral part of the E.M. Potato Company Farming and Brokerage Firm.
No prior calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Stanislaus Church, 7646 Whitehead Hill Road, Bradford, NY 14815 on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:00 am, immediately followed by a private interment at Saint Pius Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations amy be made in her name to the Vincent House, 310 Second Avenue, Wayland, New York 14572.
