Barbara Barb Ellen Morris, 73 of Bath, NY died on May 9, 2023.
Barbara was born in Camden, NJ to William Alexander and Dorothy Mae (Harbold) Morris on October 7, 1949. She graduated high school in 1967 and married Charles A. Dowd, Sr. July, 7 1970 in Dunnellon, FL. She and Charles had two children, Justin Augustus and Barbara Ellen, and moved to Anaconda, MT in 1984, where the family enjoyed a life of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and camping. Her family moved to Hammondsport, NY in 1993, and she divorced in 1995. Barbara was a resident of Hammondsport and Bath since 1993.
Barbara is survived by her Sister Linda Papworth of Columbus, OH; Son Justin A. Dowd and Daughter-in-law Rebecca L. Dowd of Jacksonville, FL; Daughter Barbara E. Murphy and Son-in-law Benjamin Murphy of Palm Beach, FL; Grandson Jonathan R. Dowd and Granddaughter Emily G. Dowd of Norfolk, VA. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Wayne and Robert Morris.
Per Barbaras wishes, no funeral services will be held.
