Bernard Ray 'Sonny' Hamblin

Bernard "Sonny" Hamblin, aged 77, passed away at his home in Kanona, NY on June 29, 2016.
He was born July 18, 1938 in Wheeler, NY.
He is survived by his sister Shirley Reinhart, of Kanona, NY and his son Steven R. Hamblin (Carrie) and his granddaughter Madison Grace Hamblin all of Orlando, FL.
He was predeceased by his father Millard Hamblin and his mother Gladys (Gruber).
Bernard served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962. Bernard worked for Dresser Rand in Painted Post as an electrician until his retirement in 2000.
Known to his family as Sonny, he was well loved by all and he enjoyed being with family, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.
Calling hours will be at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, NY on Tuesday July 5, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Avoca, NY. Memorials may be made to Kanona Methodist Church, Steeple Fund.
