BETTY ANN OWENS CLARK

Betty Ann Owens Clark, 90, of Rt, 54, Bath N.Y. passed away peacefully on December 17th, 2025 at Fred & Harriett Taylor Health Center. Born in Avoca, N.Y., March 13th, 1935, she was the daughter of George K. and Elene Lyke Owens.

Betty Ann graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 1953 from Avoca Central School and was also a graduate of Hornell Business School, Class of 1955, Hornell, N.Y. Employment included Westinghouse Electric in Bath and several years as Secretary to the Chief of Vocational Counseling Service at the Veterans Administration Center in Bath, leaving in 1963 to become a full-time housewife and mother.

Betty married Donald R. "Donnie" Clark on June 16, 1961, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath- having celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in June 2025.

Besides her husband, Donald, she is survived by one son, Percy M. Clark (Audra Fusco), one grand-daughter, Kathleen N. Clark-Parker (Shawn Parker) and three great-grand-daughters, Kinleigh, Ivy and Elyanna Parker. Also surviving are three brothers - David E. Owens, Norman C. Owens, Ronald Owens -and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her father, George Owens, her mother, Elene Owens and sister in laws Janice Owens and Nany Owens. Also pre-deceasing her were in-laws Douglas A. and Arlene S. Clark, Patrick and Betty R. Monahan and Billy L. and Ruth Clark.

There will be no calling hours. Committal will be in Nondaga Cemetery in Bath at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Finger Lakes Humane Society in Bath or the charity of one's choice.
