Clair C. Shoemaker, age 95, of Bath, NY died on April 22, 2017 at the Fred and Harriett Taylor Health Center in Bath, NY.
Clair was born in Himrod, NY on November 11, 1921 to Gerald and Florence Shoemaker.
Clair was a well-known transmission mechanic at his home on Route 333 in Campbell.
Clair has a daughter Joan (Henry) Knowles of Campbell, son Clair Ed (Sue) Shoemaker also of Campbell and son Rick Shoemaker of Syracuse, NY; sisters, Catherine Putman of Campbell and Emma Conley of Painted Post, brother William (Janet) Shoemaker of Campbell, granddaughter Donna (Michael) Lederman; grandsons, Michael (Angel) Shoemaker, Gary (Alicia) Shoemaker and Stephen (Tina) Shoemaker and several great and great great grandchildren.
Clair was predeceased by his wife Dorothy; brothers, Arthur, Gerald, Jim and Bernard and his sister Bertha.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 27th at 11:00 am at Hope Cemetery, Campbell, NY.
