Cynthia A. Mcconnell

Cynthia Ann McConnell age 80 passed away on September 18th, 2023 peacefully in her home after a brief illness. She was born in Batavia, New York on 12/22/1942 the daughter of Dominic and Dorothy (Hannah)Stephany. During her lifetime she was employed as a senior stenographer with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation later with the New York State Commissioner of Jurors, and eventually ended her employment with the Veterans Administration Medical Center. She was a communicant of Saint Marys Church. A member of the bereavement group and volunteered at many church activities. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary Council 5147 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #173. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband Matthew D. McConnell and daughter Laticia A. Mullin she is survived by her son, Jason Parker of Hudson, Florida sister, Marlene Harris, brothers, Gary Stephany, and Michael Stephany, stepsons, Matthew McConnell and Christopher McConnell, brothers and sisters in-law, six grand children, six step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial Mass at St. Mary's Church in Bath on October 7, 2023 at 11:00 am.
