David C. Mclaughlin

David C. McLaughlin, 53, of Bath NY entered his Heavenly home on June 4th, 2014. He passed away suddenly at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by an abundance of love. David was born December 13th, 1960. He graduated from James E. Sperry High School in Henrietta NY in 1978, attended Hobart and Monroe Community College. David married the love of his life, Kristina, on August 13th, 2011.
He overcame many health obstacles and counted everyday as a blessing. David is an amazing example of how a determined and positive attitude can get you through some of the worst times. He faithfully attended Bethel Assembly of God in Bath, NY, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
David enjoyed his annual Adirondack camping trip with some of his life-long friends. He enjoyed golfing, movies, gardening, and traveling. David loved to make people laugh and was always available to listen.
David is survived by his Wife: Kristina; Children: Jason (Jessica) Yarrison of Bath NY, Christopher (Amber) Yarrison of Jacksonville FL, Jennifer Yarrison (Dustin) of Brockport NY, and proud Gampa to Jaron, Jacob, and Julia as well as his beloved cat Samantha. He is also survived by his Father: James T. McLaughlin Sr. of St. Augustine FL; Step-Father: Joseph Gordon of Myrtle Beach SC; Mother in-law: Marcia Shaver of Bath NY; Brother: Patrick (Maria) McLaughlin of Stamford CT, Sister: Missy Pinkerton of Churchville NY, Sister in-law: Kathy McLaughlin of Rochester NY; Nephews: David, Ryan, and Taylor McLaughlin, Jake and Michael Pinkerton; Nieces: Madison and Christina McLaughlin. David was also blessed with many friends he thought of as family.
David is predeceased by his Mother: Marijane McLaughlin, Brother: James T. McLaughlin Jr., and Step-Mother: Nancy Thurheimer.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at the Bethel Assembly of God in Bath, NY and Tuesday, June 10th from 10:00-11:00 am with services to follow at 11:00 all at the Bethel Assembly of God.
Burial immediately following in Nondaga Cemetery officiated by Pastor Craig Buckley.
