Donna Bellomo

Donna Jean (Sprague) Bellomo, age 92, of Bath, NY died unexpectedly Saturday, October 28, 2023. Donna was born January 23, 1931, the daughter of the late Walter D. & Julia (Stickney) Sprague in the town of Wheeler, NY. She graduated from Prattsburg CSD & began her career working for the Bell Telephone Company (Verizon) until she retired after 30 years of service. She married the love of her life Michael Bellomo and they shared 58 wonderful years together until his passing in 2018. Donna & Mike shared a deep affection for cats and took in many strays over the years, giving them a loving home. Donna was a wonderful cook & avid reader. Donna is survived by her five siblings, Richard Sprague of Mountain View, MO, Nancy (Fay) Faucett of Savona, NY, Shirley Manuel of Dayton, WA, Joe(Kathy) Sprague of Thomasville, NC, Larry (Louise Smith) of Marion, NY. Donna has three generations of nieces & nephews. She loved her family and special friends Kathy, Rebecca, Christine & Ann. There will be a private service at Fagans Funeral Home at Bath on Friday November 3, 2023 with a burial directly after at St. Patricks Cemetery in Prattsburg, NY.
