Donna J. Pruner, age 82, of Bath, NY died Saturday April 23, 2022, at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 6, 1939 in Dansville, NY the daughter of Harold and Grace (Ellis) Smith. Mrs. Pruner retired from Haverling Central School as a Teacher's Aide. She coached Cinderella Softball and was the Treasurer for the Cinderella League for many years. Mrs. Pruner was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in Bath and she volunteered at the Bath VAMC. She enjoyed playing bridge and BINGO, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three daughters; Cheryl (Randy) Crocker of Bath, NY, Janet (Eric) Jacobson of Corning, NY and Rhonda Pruner of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Rachel (Michael) O'Connor, Emily Crocker and Nathan Jacobson; great grandchildren, Allison and
Braden O'Connor and step great granddaughter Lexie O'Connor and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard G. Pruner and her sister Wanda Shaffer. Calling hours will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home and graveside services at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Pruner's name may be made to the Volunteer Ambulance Corps of Bath, 110 E. Steuben St. Bath, NY 14810.
