Dawn Fribley, age 89, passed away on Monday November 20, 2017 at Elderwood Home in Hornell, NY.
Dawnie was born in Amsterdam, NY on November 23, 1927, the daughter of Ernest N. and Doris (Scott) Shoup.
Dawnie was a graduate of Fultonville High School and Barbizon Modeling School in N.Y.C.
She married Charles Warren Fribley, Jr. in 1954.
They were owners of Corning Community Television Co. for several years.
Dawnie was predeceased by her husband Warren on December 20, 2003 and her parents Ernest and Doris Shoup.
She is survived by her sisters Esther S. VanVvanken of Johnstown, NY and Eileen S. Burg of Bath, NY, niece Kaitlyn Burg, nephews, Scott (Leslie) and Jason Burg of Hammondsport, NY.
Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Washington, DC.
Arrangements are being handled by Fagan's Funeral Home of Bath, NY.
