Edna E. Friedland

Edna E. Friedland, age 94, of Bath, NY, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at home.
She was born January 27, 1919 in Mt. Vernon, NY the daughter of Albert and Isabelle (Carr) Wagner.
Mrs. Friedland was a graduate of Woodmere High School, Long Island, NY and she attended NY City Business School.
She was a Charter Member of the Bath Country Club and retired from the selective service board.
She was a benefactor to many charities, and an avid reader and bridge player.
Edna and her husband Chet loved to travel to the Gulf Coast of Florida and loved to spend time in New York City and Long Island.
Edna had a true love of American History, Art and Antiques.
She is survived by three daughters, Joan (Fred) Dugan of Rochester, NY, Irene Woodruff (Robert S.) of Watchung, NJ, and Lisa (John) Meenaghan of NYC, NY her son, Brian (Diane) Friedland of Hornell, NY, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her brother John Wagner of New City, NY, dear friends, Edith Saxton and Rita Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday February 24, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral
Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 25th at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Bath with Reverend Peter Anglaaere as celebrant assisted by Deacon Dave Lafortune.
Burial will be in the Bath National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church Bath, NY.
