Eleanor M. Rosell, age, 93 of Corning, NY died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Corning Centers Health Care, Corning, NY.
She was born March 10, 1921 in Coblenz, Germany the daughter of Samuel and Marguerita (VonWittershiem) Northrup.
Eleanor was an accomplished seamstress and an expert at knitting and crocheting.
She retired from Corning Incorporated and was a member of the Savona Federated Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Annette Campbell of Savona, NY; three sons, David B.(Denise) Myers of Corning, NY, Theodore (Cathy) Myers of Savona, NY and Jeremy Myers of Corning, NY; numerous step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased
by her husbands, Richard Rosell, Emery Myers and James Overhiser and seven siblings, she was the oldest of eight children.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday January 12, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm.
Burial will be in Seaman's Cemetery, Savona, NY at a later date.
