Evelyn P. Loomis

July 24, 1928 — December 22, 2016

Evelyn Loomis joined her husband Duane, daughter Lorraine Konig, and son Barry Lynn in heaven.
She was born on July 24, 1928 to Ruth and Raymond Pruden, the second of seven children.
Evelyn was a life long resident of Campbell, a devout Christian, and a lifetime
member of the Campbell United Methodist church. She married Duane Loomis, her high school sweetheart, and lived happily together for 51 years.
Duane and Evelyn built a successful business
and personal
life together.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law Jane and Jerry Ayers, her pride and joy grand sons, Adam Loomis Ayers PhD, Karsten Konig and wife Gwen, Sterling Konig, ,and adopted grandson Derek Jeter.
Surviving family members include, sister Shirley Corey, brother Louie Pruden, sisters in law, Bev Pruden, Harriet Pruden,Lois Pruden,Janice Pruden,brother and sister in law Gorden and Alyce Loomis, and many nieces and nephews and close friends.
She was predeceased by son in law Gerhard Konig,and brothers, Don,Woody, Len,Jerry and brother in law Blick.
The family thanks niece Jan Mishook and good friend Sue Arthur for the care and love shown to Evelyn in her final days.
We also send appreciation to the staff of the Steuben Center.
Family and friends may share in the celebration of Evelyn's life at the Campbell Methodist church on Friday, 30 December with calling hours from10-12 and the memorial service immediately following.
Donations in Evelyn's name may be made to the Campbell Methodist church. The family will provide flowers.
