Genevieve D. Keyes, age 88, of Bath, NY, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 20, 1926 in Elmboise, NY the daughter of Chancey and Avalyn (Smalley) Depew.
Genevieve retired from NY Telephone Company.
She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Bath and the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Auxilliary.
Genevieve loved to sew and loved music and dancing. She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was always there to help others and will be remembered most at the Taylor Health Center helping out wherever she could.
She is survived by daughters, Virginia (Mike) Hargraves of Bath, NY and Susan (David) Crane of Addison, NY; grandchildren, Alicia Hargraves, Amber (Shane) Magill and Kim Akers; great grandchildren, Andrea Akers, Ean Magill "her little man", Josh Krisher and Alexa Magill and her great great grandchild Aiva Krisher, sister, Anna Osborne of Hammondsport, NY and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, first husband Bernard Levandowski, second husband Gordon Keyes and granddaughter Amy Hargraves.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Taylor Health Center for their compassionate care over the past 19 years.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
