Geraldine E. 'Geri' Galvin

Geraldine E. "Geri" Galvin, was born March 4, 1936 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Alexander and Geraldine (Caulfield) Dean.
She died Sunday, November 6, 2016.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years James Galvin; five children, Colleen (Chris) Gyr of Angelica, NY, Karen (Randy) Groot of Canandaigua, NY, Patrick (Marianne) Galvin of Penn Yan, NY, Dean Galvin of Altamonte Springs, FL and Diane Weber of Parkland, FL; ten grandchildren,
Gretchen and Peter Galvin, Daniel, Adam and Heather Groot, Audrey, Griffin and Jessie Gyr and Nick and Aly Weber, one great grandchild Baylee Groot, her sister: Patricia Dowling and brother: Robert Dean, cousin, Marj Thornbloom, brothers-in-law, Robert (Mary Ellen) Galvin and Thomas Galvin and sister-in-law Ellen Galvin and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Galvin was a Teacher at Haverling Central School for 26 years, retiring in 1998.
She was an active parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bath, serving as a lector and on the bereavement committee. She traveled to Florida and Ireland in her retirement years.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday November 9th from 3:00-6:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral
Home in Bath, NY.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday November 10th
at St, Mary's Church, Bath, NY with Reverend James Jaeger officiating assisted by Deacon Dave LaFortune.
A graveside service will follow at the Bath National Cemetery.
