Gordon F. Deats

Gordon F. Deats, age 85, of West Morris Street, Bath, NY, died December 13, 2011 at home.
He was born in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late Farham and Helen (Cook) Deats.
He retired from Dresser Rand of Painted Post, NY after 30 years of service.
He was a member of the Bath B.P.O.E. 1547.
He enjoyed opening the Office with Tootie and he started the Coffee Club with close friends.
He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by four sons, Gary Deats, Greg Deats, Terry Deats and Adam Deats all of Bath, NY; four grandchildren, Kacie (Jonathan) Cook, Adam Deats, Jonathan and Jordan Deats, several nieces and nephews and adopted daughter Tootie Lyon.
He was predeceased by his wife Melva in July 1994; two brothers, Gaylord and Graydon Deats and grandson Dakota Deats.
Friends may call Saturday January 7, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.
Memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home followed by a celebration of his life
at the VFW in Bath.
