Gordon R. Van Husen

Gordon Roland Van Husen, age 82, of Bath, NY died October 26, 2021 at the Taylor Health Center.
He was born in Wheeler, NY October 2, 1939, the son of the late Roland E. and Juanita I. (Barkley) Van Husen.
Mr. Van Husen retired from Mercury Aircraft Inc. of Hammondsport, NY.
He was a graduate of Prattsburgh High School. Mr. Van Husen was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam. He married Wanda Mildred Rumsey on September 17, 1965. Mr. Van Husen was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
He was happiest when he was in the woods cutting wood and spending time with his great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Wanda Van Husen of Bath, NY, his son Richard (Sharon) Van Husen of Bradford, NY, granddaughter, Christina (Randy) Fassett, great grandchildren, Zachary, Elijah and Aundreya, grandson, Nathan (Monica) Van Husen, great grandchildren, Connor and Victoria, his son, William (Margaret) Van Husen, granddaughter Danielle (Christopher) Wightman, great grandchildren, Lukas and Carter, grandson, Chad (Ashley) Van Husen great grandchildren Alexandria and Easton; brother and sisters, Gary (Angelica) Van Husen, Carol McCaskill, Vicki (John) Dinnan and Connie English as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services with military honors will be in the Nondaga Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
