Harry was born in Hornell, NY to Harry Shugars Sr. and Rosemary Washburn. He lived most of his life in Bath, NY and spent a couple of years living and working in Nashville, Tennessee.
Harry is predeceased by his mother Rosemary Washburn and his step-mother Mary Shugars.
He is survived by his father, Harry Shugars Sr, and his sisters June (Hoad) Adams, Alicia (Darrell) Hoad, and his brother Steven (Brandy) Nichols. He will forever live in the hearts of his four children, Amber (Matt) Eggleston, Ashley (Raymond Noyes) Shugars, Alex (Elizabeth Graziani) Shugars, and Amanda (Anthony) Shugars, and his five grandchildren, Brendyn, Raylee, Hayden Eggleston and Paislei and Kevin Noyes. Harry is also survived by the mother to his children, Katie Smalt and his companion, Dawn Walburn. His many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends will dearly miss him.
Bubby will always be remembered for his huge heart. He loved his family, friends, and his animals. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family. He loved to have a good time and was the life of the party. No matter what situation he was in he always put out a helping hand to anybody in need.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday August 17, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Fagans Funeral Home in Bath. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Nondaga Cemetery at a later date.
