Irene L. Hale, 75 years of age, went to be with the Lord on 1/9/13.
She passed away peacefully at her home in Bath, NY.
Irene was born on 6/3/37 to the late Frank and Ruth McKenzie Hamilton.
She was married to Phillip Hale Sr. and they had the following children together; Charles (Merlinda) Hale of Burlington, VT, Carol Hale of Bath, NY, John (Paula) Hale of Manchester, NH, David Hale of St Albans, VT, Daniel (Laura) Hale of St. Albans, VT, Tammy L. (Marty) Foster of Bath, NY, James (Wanda) Hale of Palmyra, TN and Bobbi (Erik) Ferguson of Wellsboro, PA, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Hazel Sutton, brothers, Robert Hamilton, Roy Hamilton, Franklin Hamilton and William Hamilton and many nieces and nephews all survive her.
She was predeceased by her son Philip Hale Jr., daughter Christine Hale and sisters, Mildred Miller, Winfred Manwaring and Eleanor McArdle.
Irene's favorite times were spent with family, including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She enjoyed being at home, playing skip-bo, watching her favorite TV shows and looked forward to visits from family pets.
Irene was blessed to have her personal aide Christina Payne, with her much of the time over the past two years, who quickly became a part of the family.
Family and friends may call at Fagan's Funeral Home on Monday January 14th from 12:00-2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Erik Ferguson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Finger Lakes S.P.C.A. 7315 Route 54, Bath, NY 14810.
