Janice M. Luta, age 89, of Bath, NY, died Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Guthrie Corning Hospital.
Janice was born in Bath, NY on September 11, 1932, the daughter of John and Mary (Clevland) Chamberlain.
She was a member of St. John Vianney Parish in Bath and was very active with the Bereavement Assembly and preparing meals in the kitchen at St. Mary's Church. Janice was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
She had worked at Westinghouse in Bath and also was the Activity Director at the Steuben County Infirmary for years. She especially loved her coffee club at Tops with her friends. She is survived by her son Randy (Sue) Luta, daughter Debbie (Joe) Gerych; grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Gerych, Kelly Orme, Stefanie Browne, Shane (Heather) Gerych, Ben Luta and Pete Luta; great grandchildren, Anthony Luta, Tucker Gerych, Marrissa Seager, Dawson Luta, Keira Brown and Andrew Luta.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday February 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath.
