Joan C. Blank

Joan C. Blank, age 80, of Bath, NY, died, Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 4, 1933 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of William P. and Kathleen Dayton Cisek.
She was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath, the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173 Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Post 1470 in Bath.
Joan was retired from the Bath VAMC.
She was an avid bowler.
The Golden Girls have lost a valuable member but Heaven has gained an angel.
She is survived by three sons, William (Heather) Blank of Castleton, NY, Robert (Elizabeth) Blank of Killeen, TX and Kevin (Barbara) Blank of Myrtle Beach, SC, her daughter, Linda (Michael) Rook of Niagara Falls, NY eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert Blank, brother, Robert Cisek and grandchild Ryan Emerson.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday February 11, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral
Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend J. Brad Benson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 122 Liberty Street, Bath, NY 14810 and the Finger Lakes SPCA, 7315 State Route 54, Bath, NY 14810.
