John was born on January 15, 1940 in Savona, NY to Thomas and Luella Grimaldi. He graduated from Savona Central School.
John worked at the Ingersoll Rand for 45 years.
John married Allie in 1973 and they were married 50 years. John enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing and his multiple walks with his little girl Lucy.
John is survived by his wife Allie; his children, Anna Divens, John Grimaldi, Joe (Karen) York, Beth (Bill) Tompkins as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his siblings; Fred Grimaldi and Nick Grimaldi.
John was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Luella Grimaldi, his brother Jim Grimaldi and children Jesse York and Gayle VanderVeer.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
