Josephine A. 'Danilowicz' Dibble

Josephine A. Dibble, age 81, of Bradford, NY died Monday, June 19, 2017 at Guthrie Corning Hospital. She was born February 24, 1936 in Bath, NY the daughter of Anthony and Ann (Napora) Danilowicz. Mrs. Dibble was a lifelong member and very active at the St. Stanislaus Church in Bradford. She worked as a Dental Hygienist in Bath and Dundee and also taught Dental Hygiene at the Dundee Central School. Mrs. Dibble was the founder of the Food Pantry in Bradford and volunteered for 16 years at the Food Pantry. She was a member of the Mustard Seed Ministries in Tyrone and volunteered many hours for Catholic Charities.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Franklin D. Dibble, who she married on May 4, 1958 at St. Stanislaus Church, also, her son, Gregory Dibble of Dundee, NY, her granddaughter, Courtney (David) Howell of Dundee, NY, great grandson Brantley Howell, grandson, Nathan DeStephen of Bradford, NY, son-in-law, Brian DeStephen and sister-in-law, Dale Danilowicz. She was predeceased by her daughter Diane DeStephen and brother Ronald Danilowicz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 29017 from 9:00-10:00 am at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father Pat Connor officiating. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at the Bath National Cemetery with a luncheon at St. Stanislaus after the burial.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Tyrone Volunteer Fire Department.
