June H. Ames

June H. Ames, age 85, of Bath, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Steuben Center.
She was born in Bath, NY on May 31, 1932, the daughter of the late Harold and Gertrude Locey Roberts.
She was married 35 years to Freal Ames who preceded her in death on May 28, 2015.
June was an avid reader.
She also enjoyed sewing.
She was an excellent cook and will be remembered for her delicious special meals. She was a very loving wife and mother and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Wesley (Terry) Dale and Patrick Dale;
grandchildren, Wesley and Sarah Dale, great granddaughter, Cora Dale; step children, Tim Ames and Valerie (Dan) Dugo and several step- grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Gary Roberts.
