Karen English

Karen L. Monterville English passed away to be with our Lord on October 17, 2025. She was born on October 10, 1945 in Waterloo, NY the daughter of the late Roy and Violet (Pollard) Monterville.

Karen was a Licensed Hairdresser after graduating from Continental Beauty School of Rochester, NY in April of 1982, with outstanding recognition to the culture of beauty. She owned her own beauty shop in her home and in Cohocton, NY called "Karen's Beauty and Barber". She also worked at the Finger Lakes Race Track. Karen enjoyed her Bowling League and loved her pool team. She was an avid cook and baker, and especially loved her three dogs, Baby, Petie and Eva.

She is survived by her daughter; Kimberly (Tyrone) Brown of Newark, NY and their children Tyra and Teeya; her daughter Kathy Clark and her four children: Eric (Victoria) Clark with five children, Janice, Jayda, Bella, Eric and Erica, Kyle (Olivia) Clark with three children, Jullianna, Anthony and Christopher, Taylor Pygott and her son Jace and Katie English. She is also survived by her sister Judy Johnson of FL, friend of 40 years Carol Clark, and her nieces and nephews, Dezzy, Byron, Lane, Penelope and Marshall. She was predeceased by her sisters Betty, Beulah and Sherry and brothers, Herb and Bucky.

A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
