Karen Sue Pickard, age 50, of Bath, New York, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at the Corning Hospital. She was born June 20, 1970 in the town of Urbana, the daughter of Robert E. and Elizabeth G. (Fisk) Smith.
Karen worked for Steuben County as a Social Welfare Examiner.
She loved quilting.
Karen enjoyed life and everyone around her.
She became a mother to many at her job and enjoyed being with children. She is survived by her husband, Mark Pickard, daughter Destiny Ray (Adam) Cobb, granddaughter Jayvyn Elizabeth Roxy Cobb, her mother, Elizabeth Smith all of Bath and her sister Deborah (Ron) Smith Jacquier of Hammondsport, NY.
She was predeceased by her father, two brothers and one sister. Karen would love for you to make a donation to any organization that involves children and the American Heart Association.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
