Kenneth William Reed, age 82, of 4270 Barrett Road, Addison, NY died Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
Kenny Reed was born at home in Thurston, April 24, 1936 the son of Harold and Rose (Phillip) Reed.
He was a passionate farmer for 58 years.
He was a loving, determined, steadfast and faithful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an Army Veteran.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Campbell, NY, and also volunteered for 10 years delivering Meals on Wheels with his wife Cornelia.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Beverly, son Craig and sister Carol.
He is survived by his wife, Cornelia VanAltena Lentz (Reed) of Addison, NY; six children, Debora (Fred) Evans of Barton, NY, Brian (Shirley) Reed
of Addison, Teresa (John) Lyons of Addison, Diane Hakes of Warfordsburg, PA, Karen Warner of Addison and Douglas (Missy) Reed of Addison and step daughter Kristina Mujic of Campbell; 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; sisters, Donna Rhoades, Dorothy (Dave) Austin and Rosalyn Renner.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10:00am -1:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph's Church in Campbell with Reverend Pat Connor as presider. Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Addison.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to the Corning Meals on Wheels Inc., 144 Cedar Street, Corning, NY 14830.
