Lee R. "Pete" Biccum, a former resident of Port Jervis, NY and Canisteo, NY, died Friday December 30th at the Fred and Harriet Taylor Health Center in Bath, NY.
He was 78.
He was born January 18, 1938 in Montague, NJ the son of John A. "Jack" and Harriet E. "Betty" (Collins) Biccum who predeceased him.
He was also predeceased by his siblings; Betty J. (Biccum) Mosher, Beverly J. (Biccum) Little, Durwood H. Biccum and Jack E. "Johnny" Biccum and his nephews, Kenneth Lee Biccum and Kevin McKeon.
A Vietnam Era Veteran he took great pride in his military service in the U.S. Army from 1955-1958 and the U.S. Navy from 1965-1967.
He is survived by his beloved nephews Alexander and Samuel Rosenzweig of Painted Post, NY, as well as his siblings; Mary (Maurice) Rosenzweig of Painted Post, NY, Melanie Biccum of Sparrowbush, NY, Mabel Biccum of Henderson, KY, Harry (Sherry) of Duncanville, TX, Perry (Bonnie) of Warwick, NY and Darcy of Port Jervis, NY and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral with military honors is planned and he will be interred in the Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY.
