Liz Turissini

Elizabeth Miorelli Turissini, 89, of Lincoln, MA, formerly of Corning and Hammondsport, NY, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 1st, 2019 after a brief illness. Wife for 59 years of the late Robert Turissini, former Corning, Inc. executive. Liz was a graduate of Penn State University. She is survived by her three children, Dave and his wife Amy of Leawood, KS, Jim and his wife Renee of Maumee, OH, Carl and his wife Sharon of Winchester, MA; seven grandchildren; Kevin and his wife Claire, Brian, Alex, Gregory, Evan, Cole, and Julia. She was an avid gardener, gourmet cook, weaver, and voracious reader. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Penn Yan, NY at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Following the funeral mass she will be laid to rest next to her beloved Bob at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport, NY. She will live forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Catholic Charities of Steuben County.
