Obituary

Lori Ann Coe, passed away on October 29, 2026, in Rochester, New York, at the age of 66.

Born on January 4, 1960, in Batavia, New York, Lori carried with her throughout life the warmth, strength, and steady devotion that defined her character. She was a Christian whose deep faith in God guided the way she lived, loved, and cared for those around her. Her life was marked by devotion to her family, her home, and the simple blessings that meant the most to her.

Lori found happiness in the everyday gifts of life. She enjoyed gardening and loved to read, and she especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. Her loved ones will remember her as someone who made others feel welcomed, supported, and loved. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived, and it was evident in the way she treated others with patience, compassion, and humility.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Coe of Avoca, New York; her children, Amy Coe of Alaska, Kevin Coe and his wife Anson of Avoca, New York, Jonathan Coe and his wife Ilene of Avoca, and Karen Coe of Avoca, New York; and her grandchildren, Nora and Lylah Coe. She is also survived by her siblings, Tammy Glass and her husband David of Iola, Texas, and John McCloskey and his wife Karen of Caledonia, New York, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lori held each member of her family close to her heart, and her love for them was unwavering.

She was predeceased by her parents, John McCloskey and Barbara Reeves, and by her stepmother, Donna McCloskey. Their memory remained important to her throughout her life.

She will be remembered for her devotion to God, her love of family, her appreciation for the beauty of a garden, and the quiet strength that helped shape the lives of those around her.

Her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home on Friday November 6, 2026 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 pm.
