Louis F. Frankel, age 66, was born August 8, 1951 in Bath, NY and on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, he let go of the hands of his loved ones, to hold the hands of the Lord.
Peace filled our hearts, knowing his struggle with COPD no longer runs his life.
He has joined in heaven; a mom, a dad, and a baby sister he never got a chance to meet.
Louie worked many jobs in his life starting at a young age, and his last job being at Philips Lighting.
The job he enjoyed most was working side by side for A.L. Blades Construction with his beloved friend, confidant, and hero, his Dad.
He lost his dad in 2005 and with that we all knew a piece of Louie went with him.
Diagnosed with COPD, Louie struggled every day to take a breath.
We know we will never see your face here again or hold your hand, but we find peace in knowing you now breathe again.
For now my beloved husband, brother and uncle, farewell, we will miss you, we love you, and until we meet again, we will watch for the little signs you send us, saying all is good with your soul.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie with whom he celebrated 43 years of marriage on March 2, 2017. He is also survived by brother, David Frakel, sister Tammy (Lewis) Kaszewski; nieces and nephews, Summer (Pat) Wilson, Holly (Kyle) Mangligia, Sherry Young (Zach), Brad (Christy) Frankel, Eric (Lindsey) Meese and Tara (Ivan) Bureau, sister-in-law, Sheila (Paul) Meese and several great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Lottie and sister Donna Mae.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday January 7th from 1:00-3:00 pm at Fagan's Funeral
Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.
Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Barre Butts officiating.
Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Painted Post.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 72 Cameron St. Bath, NY 14810.
