Lucile Dixon
Knapp
d. Aug 5, 2026
Lucy passed away on Augus 5, 2026. She was a resident of Bath and the Town of Urbana for 98 years. During those years she impacted many, many people. She believed in the example of being a good person. As the owner of Lucy Knapp Real Estate, Lucy was honest and dedicated to helping people. She wanted everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy this area as much as she did. She was the "Queen of Keuka Lake."
Lucy left her beloved daughters Pamela, Jennifer, and Katharine and joined her daughter Eliza who was always in her heart. She loved many people especially Bruce White, Nils Peterson, James Bums and Randy Kuhl. She was proud of her grandchildren; John Kuhl, III, Christopher Kuhl, James Kuhl, Joseph Chely, Eliza Taylor, Sean Ainsworth and Ryan Ainsworth. She danced at James's and Maggie's wedding and celebrated J.R.'s and Lauren's marriage. She adored her great grandchildren; Whit. Sam, Henry, Johnny and Tate. Lucy formed a bond with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who became part of her family through her son-in-law Nils.
Lucile Dixon Knapp was a beautiful woman inside and out. They don't come any better.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Those wishing may remember Lucy with a donation to the Keuka Lake Association.
