Marian Lewis

Marian Lewis, age 86, of Wheeler, NY died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY.
She was born June 3, 1926 in Penn Yan, NY the daughter of the late Andrew and Pearl (Yost) Rice.
She was a homemaker and known by many as Ma Lewis or Maude. Her kindness and warmth were freely given to others and were a source of joy and strength to her family.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, canning and making fudge for everyone.
She is survived by daughters, Nancy Lewis of Olean, NY, Janet Lewis of Elmira, NY and Judith Myers of Bath, NY, son, Chester Lewis of Wheeler, NY; grandsons, David Lewis and Michael Myers, sister, Oretta McIntee, sister-in-law, Betty Ballou and close family friend Joseph Chilbert.
She was predeceased by her husband Erwin C. Lewis, twin sister Mary Lewis and sister Edna Stout.
Friends may call on Saturday June 8, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral
Home, 31 West Morris St., Bath, NY.
A memorial service will follow
at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with
Kitty Ormsby officiating.
