Nanette Jourden, passed away on April 3, 2026, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania, at the age of 66.

She was born on August 10, 1959, in the Town of Urbana, New York, and carried with her throughout her life the values of kindness, loyalty, and devotion to those she loved. Nanette lived a life marked by quiet strength and steady care for her family, and those who knew her will remember her warm heart, her gentle nature, and the sincerity with which she approached every relationship.

In her working years, Nanette was employed in Finance with Wells Fargo in Charlotte, South Carolina.

Nanette spent 25 years living in the South before returning to Bath to be closer to her family. That return reflected what mattered most to her in life, as family remained at the center of everything she did. She treasured time spent with those she loved and found happiness in simple moments shared with them.

Nanette is survived by her brother, William P. Jourden II; her aunts, Sue Sprague and Janice Kropp; and her cousins, Deb and Rick Drain, Scott Sprague, and Lauren and Bub Robords.

She was predeceased by her parents, William and Gaile Jourden; her uncles, Reggie Sprague, Lynn Kropp, and Dean Kropp; and her cousin, Dennis Kropp. Their memory remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she now joins them in eternal rest.

Nanette also found joy in the companionship of her cats, whom she loved dearly. Their presence brought her comfort and happiness, and they were among the simple pleasures that brightened her days.

Her presence brought comfort and steadiness to her loved ones, and her memory will continue to be held close by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA.
