Norma J. Shugars

Norma J. Shugars, age 83, of Bath, NY died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at the Taylor Health Center, Bath, NY.
She was born July 1, 1930 in Elmira, NY.
She was a legal secretary for Knapp & Kuhl Law Offices for many years.
Norma enjoyed being with her family and being outside doing lawn work.
She was a very caring person putting others needs before her own.
She really enjoyed hearing the funny stories of what her great grandchildren had been up to and she enjoyed going shopping.
Norma was predeceased by her husband Arthur Shugars, daughter Debi Fay and sister Laura Copp.
She is survived by her children; Terry (Lynnda) Shugars of Albany, Barbara (Ed) Geyer of Campbell and Gregg (Stephanie) Shugars of Savona; grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Altaffer of Toledo, Ohio, Arthur Shugars of Canandaigua, Jeremy (Seanna) Shugars of Rochester, Emily (Dane) Robinson of Rochester, Alicia (Bryan) Jamison of Campbell, Katie Pettitt of Elmira, Ashley Shugars and Pamela Shugars of Savona; two step grandchildren, Kelly Glosser of Campbell and Jeremy Geyer of Gang Mills, several great grandchildren, her sister, Pauline Pint of Elmira, sisters-in-law, Mary Joyce (Richard) Charles of Bath and Ellie Stocum of Hammondsport; several nieces and nephew, Gary Pint, Vicki Allen, Cheryl Seymour and Lori Perry of Elmira.
Family and friends are invited to Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Saturday June 14, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 pm for visitation, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm, with Reverend Emanuel Osborne officiating.
Graveside services will follow in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath.
