Norman E. 'Bud' Taft

Norman E. "Bud" Taft Sr.,
age 67, of Bath, NY, died on February 2, 2015 surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 22, 1947 to Norman J. Taft and Iris DeMonstoy at Corning Hospital.
Bud worked for Corning Glass Co. in Corning, NY.
Bud loved watching the New York Yankees, playing cards and bingo.
He liked to go fishing, square dancing, listening to country music and watching old cowboy movies.
Bud especially loved being with his family and friends and will be missed very much by all who knew him.
He is survived by two sons, Norman E. Taft Jr. and James Taft of SC; three sisters, Christine Taft of Bath, Susan Taft of Bath and Georgiann Cratsley of Bradford, NY, four grandchildren, three step children and his first wife Brenda Herbert.
He was predeceased by his parents in 2005; four sisters, Margorie and Kathleen in 1957, and Nancy Connor in 2005 and Tamela Harndon
in 2012 and his second wife Kay Brown.
The family would like to thank the staff at Taylor Health Center for taking such good care of their brother and father.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 2:00 at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath.
Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery.
