Our beloved Patricia Faye Hutt Crippen, 89, resident of Bath, NY, went to be with our Lord on October 20, 2025.
She was born at home near Ridgeley, WV in 1935, and the 4th of 9 children, born to Mary and George Hutt.
Pat went to elementary school in Ridgeley, graduating from high school in 1953.
She moved to Bath, NY several years later, and spent a long, fulfilling life there. She married George Crippen Jr. and had a daughter Shawn Elaine and twin sons Michael Wayne and Mark Allen.
She loved her career at Bath National Bank, and her church, Centenary United Methodist Church, where she served as a youth leader, choir member, and on multiple committees and boards.
Pat never passed by any community volunteer opportunity or simply helping anybody in need. She loved baking cookies, and then giving them to family, friends and strangers!
Pat was predeceased by her parents, former husband, George Crippen Jr., son Michael and daughter Shawn. She was also predeceased by two brothers, William and Gary and sister Rhoda.
Pat is survived by son Mark Crippen (Lisa), Hartford, KY; grandchildren, Monica Woods (Walt), Hartford, KY, Sherri Underwood (Beau), Seminole, OK and Stephanie Crippen, Norman, OK and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
There will be calling hours from 4:00-5:00 pm with a Celebration of Life at 5:00 pm at the Centenary United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 2nd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church of Bath, NY where she attended and Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital of Bath, NY where she volunteered often.
Pat's legacy of love and generosity will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
