Pauline A. Mcclary

September 13, 1949 — April 4, 2024

Pauline McClary, 74, of Bath, NY passed away on April 4, 2024 at The Brightons of Highland following a battle with cancer. She was born in the Town of Urbana to the late Paul and Anna Hazzard. Pauline attended and graduated from Bath Haverling High School. Pauline married Roger McClary who pre-deceased her in 1983. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Kelly (Jeff) Holley of Livonia, Stacie (Rob) Rood of Conesus and Bridget McClary of Irondequoit. Pauline had one brother Harold "Butch" (Sue) Hazzard and two sisters DeeDee Lese who pre-deceased her and Tina (Scott) Watson, sister-in-law Susie Law and nieces and nephews. She has 5 grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Holley, Samantha and Nicholas Figler and Matthew Groth. Pauline (Nana) shared a special gift with each of her grandchildren.
Pauline and her family attended Zion Lutheran Church in Cohocton, she was a member of the Cohocton Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary for many years and the Bath Legion.
Her work history included potato harvesting, Haines Equipment, the Steuben Courier and Southern Tier Shopper, Empire in Prattsburg as well as being self-employed.
Pauline had such a unique personality and could make anyone laugh including the last few weeks of her life. A very special thank you to Brian and Joyce Wheaton for sharing long time memories and this journey with us.
A private family graveside service will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Cohocton at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pauline's memory to The Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642.
