Rachel K. Nicklaus

Rachel Ann King Nicklaus, 86, passed away peacefully in her home on 11/14/2015.
Rachel was born January 21, 1929 in Williamsport, PA to Leon and Harriet (Whitehead) King.
Rachel was a young girl when she and her family moved to Rock Stream, NY.
Rachel graduated from Dundee Central School in 1947.
Rachel is survived by her son Roy Hepler (Sandra), daughter Catherine Chadwick, step-daughters Patricia (Nicklaus) Sabin and Antonia Nicklaus, step-daughter-in-law Terry (Nicklaus) Cesari, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Rachel is preceded in death by her parents, husbands George Hepler and Frank E. Nicklaus, daughter Nancy Chadwick and step-son Frank Nicklaus, II.
A special thank you to Rachel's wonderful caregivers Helen Lynk, Norma Reynolds, Julie Wheeler, Deborrah Buck, and Shannon Kaufman who made it possible for Rachel to remain in her home with all the love and care they gave her.
Calling hours will be at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 pm and 5:00-7:00 pm.
Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Hammondsport on Saturday, 11/21/2015 at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport immediately following the service.
Please join family and friends at luncheon served at the First United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, will be accepted with appreciation
to the Frank E. Nicklaus Scholarship Fund (check made to the Bath Rotary Scholarship Fund and sent to Mr. Richard McCandless, Bath Rotary Club, P. O. Box 648, Bath, NY 14810), Curtiss Museum
(8419 State Route 54, Hammondsport, NY 14840),
First United Methodist Church in Hammondsport, or charity of your choice.
