Ralph A. Baker, also known as Ham Radio Operator call sign AA2CJ, age 68 of Bath, passed away peacefully at Arnot Ogden Hospital, Elmira, NY.
Born February 28, 1944, to Lawrence and Helen Ford Baker.
Ralph had been employed as a Machinist at Philips in Bath, until declining health.
He was an avid Ham Radio Operator and volunteer.
He was a very determined man that had a loving heart to family and friends willing to help anyone when asked.
He is survived by his wife JerriLyn I. Hobbs Baker; brothers and sisters, Bernice/Sheldon Snell, Esther/Norm Canute, Lawrence/Janet Baker, David/Helen Baker and Bill/Pat Springsteel; children, Michele/Josh Kaack, Deniele/Brian Rook and Heather/Tim Decker; grandchildren, Jordan, Dalton, Gavin, Mikayla and Anthony and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Helen Ford Baker and multiple sisters.
The family will announce a Memorial Service in the future.
