Richard Conklin, age 91, of Hammondsport, NY died Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Steuben Center in Bath.
He was born in Rochester, NY, January 28, 1930, the son of Bartholomew and Amelie Conklin.
Mr. Conklin worked 40 - years at Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post, NY.
He was a parishioner at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Hammondsport, NY. He is survived by his daughter Joan Conklin of Hammondsport, NY, son James (Ivy) Conklin of Kanona, NY, grandchildren, Rose, Dominique, Charlie, Sandy, Herbie, Josh, Cathy and Jimmy Jr. several great grandchildren and his son-in-law, James Smith.
He was predeceased by his wife Lorena Conklin, his parents, and daughters; Mary Smith, Theresa Longwell and Monica Smith. There will be a graveside service on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport, NYwith Father Pat Connor officiating.
