Richard F. "Hoppy" Hopkins
Bath: Passed away on September 19, 2016 at the age of 79.
"Hoppy" was a retired Steuben County Highway employee with 38 years of service.
He was an active member of St. John Vianney Parish in Bath for over 54 years and was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Constance Yochum and his parents Buela and William.
Survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Margaret; children, Carey (Paul) Spara, Kenneth, and James (MaryAnn); dear brother of William (Patty) and David (Cathy); devoted grandfather of Nick and Lauren Yochum, Collin and Mitch Muller, Hallie Hopkins, Jordan Strezepek, Brady and Liela Hopkins, Molly and Luke Spara; great grandchildren, Rylie XXX and Elijah XXXX, Julius and Xziana and Taetum XXXX; and beloved to many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 1-3 and 6-8 pm, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Fagan's Funeral Home, 31 West Morris St, Bath.
His Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Mary's Church of St. John Vianney Parish, 32 E. Morris St,
in Bath with internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
