Robert A Barrows, 96 of 10 William Street, Mount Morris , New York, died May 16, 2016 at Bath Veterans Hospital in Bath, New
York.
He was born on April 18, 1920 in Perry New york to the late Arthur and Ruby( Watson ) Barrows.
He married Teresa ( Branciforte) on March 20, 1942.
He was a resident of Mount Morris for most of
his life.
He worked for the American Foundry in Rochester, New York until his retirement. He served in the United States Army during
World War II in the European Theater and was awarded a Purple Heart.
He is predeceased in death by his wife, Teresa L Barrows; his brother, Dean; his sister, Joan Bly and granddaughter, Ashley Barrows.
He is survived by his children, Roslyn
(David )Hallerman of New Hempstead,New York; Robert
(Marlene ) of Charlotte , North Carolina; Richard and Jeff Barrows of Mount Morris New York; nine grandchildren; twenty great grand children; sisters,
Laura
McIntyre of Perry, New York; Freda Reinheimer of Portland, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a military graveside service at the Bath National Cemetery in Bath, New York on
Monday May 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
