Robert Leigh Bolling

Robert "Bob" Leigh Bolling, 81, husband of Ruth Louise Gilbert Bolling, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Bob was a son of the late William Albert Bolling, Sr. and Frieda Helen Schwartz Bolling.
Bob worked as a food inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture. He enjoyed yard work, walking, and was a talented woodworker. Bob was always up for a do-it-yourself project and built several pieces of furniture for his home and family. He also enjoyed listening to the Eagles and watching the Buffalo Bills.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his son, Douglas Leigh Bolling (Mandy); his daughter, Michelle Lynn Bolling; two grandchildren, Justin Leigh Bolling and Brianna Lynn Bolling; a brother, William Bolling, Jr (Kathy); and three sisters, Carol Purvis, Kathy Metzger, and Karen Kiel (Paul). In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a brother, Don Bolling; and a brother-in-law, Ron Metzger.
A memorial service will be held at Brookwood Terrace of Simpsonville,(645 Scuffletown Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681) Monday, February 17th at 2pm. In lieu of sending flowers, please make a donation to the American Red Cross. Burial will be in Nondago Cemetery, Bath NY.
