Robert E. Clark

Robert Elmer Clark, 89 of Bath, New York passed away on October 12, 2017.
Robert was born in Woburn, Mass on June 9, 1928 to Maise and Ira Clark.
He attended Woburn High School and graduated in 1946.
Robert married Eleanor B. Stone (E. Beth), February 14, 1959 and together they had four children, Elaine D. Howell (A.J.), David E. Clark (Sue), Laura M. Leminger (Bill) and Charles T. Clark.
He proudly served in the US Air Force, retiring after 26 years of honorable service in 1974 at the grade of Master Sergeant.
He served during the Korean and Vietnam eras as an Aircraft Electrician completing several overseas assignments.
He then retired as Tools and Parts Attendant at Great Western/Taylor's winery in 1992.
After finally retiring for good, he enjoyed traveling with Beth in their camper visiting all 48 continental states, Alaska, Canada and Mexico.
They took great pleasure in seeing the sites of everyplace they visited and created great memories.
His key hobby was to go golfing and even got Beth out on the links and played in several leagues at the Bath Country Club.
While his children were in high school, he attended and enjoyed so many sporting events, plays and concerts.
Once they all graduated and had families of their own, he experienced all the same enjoyment again with his grandchildren.
Robert was also a proud member of the American Legion,
Knights of Columbus, Elks and the Mayflower Society.
Robert is survived by his wife, E. Beth, his four children, Elaine, David, Laura and Charles, his brother Donald (Sue) Clark, along with grandchildren, Eric and Justin (Chelsea) Howell, Andrew, Kyle and Craig Clark, Lauren (Tyler) Anderson, Kaitlyn and Kevin Leminger and great grandchildren, Saage Howell and Emersyn Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his parents Ira and Maise and brother Thomas.
Calling hours will be held at Fagan's Funeral Home, Bath, NY on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Fagan's on Tuesday Oct. 17th at 12:00 pm.
Burial with full military honors will take place at Bath National Cemetery on Tuesday at 1:00 pm.
Memorial donations may be made in Robert's name to www.alz.org or the www.fingerlakesSPCA.org .
