Robert D. Tompkins

Robert "Bob" D. Tompkins went home to be with his savior on March 16th, 2022. He was born on September 4th, 1945 at Bath Memorial Hospital. Bob retired from Taylor Wine Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.Bob was pre-deceased by his wife Nell, father and mother James and Lillian Tompkins, 1 brother William. He is survived by his son Timothy Tompkins (Beverly), Daughter Verna Horbey (Robert), Granddaughters, Jade Annabel (Shelton Adams) and Gabriella Tompkins, Bother James Tompkins (Joyce), sisters-in-law Ellie (Al) Crouch and Susie (Robert) Thomas, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.Bob loved being in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and survivalist. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, spending time with his dogs Lucy and Oscar, feeding the wild birds, going Kayaking and canoeing, and spending time in the Adirondack Mountains. Bob also had a special love for his granddaughters.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Care First Hospice or a charity of one's choice.
