Robert P. Vanderhoef, age 74 of Bath, NY, died
Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
He was born January 22, 1941 in West Union, NY the son of Lynn and Frances (Fox) Vanderhoef.
He was a retired Truck Driver having worked for Mercury Aircraft in Hammondsport, R.C. Billings and Agway of Bath.
He was a member of the Charles E. Wescott American Legion Post 173.
Bob enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed visiting with his many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Shaut) Vanderhoef of Bath; brothers, Lawrence (Idamay) Vanderhoef, Gary Vanderhoef and Royce (Mary Nilson) Vanderhoef; sisters, Frances Anne Lunsford and Kay Butler (James Manry), sisters-in-law, Roberta Thompson, Beverly (Harold) Risley and Mary Shaut and numerous nieces and nephews and many grand
nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Edwin Vanderhoef, William Vanderhoef, Lynn Vanderhoef Jr. and James Vanderhoef, sister, Judith Puderaugh, brothers-in-law, Anthony Lunsford and Theodore Shaut and sister-in-law Yvonne Vanderhoef.
The visitation will be held on Saturday August 29, 2015 from 1:00-2:30 pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:30 pm at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath.
Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath.
